Welcome to The Film Academy (“we,” “our,” “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in any training course, workshop, seminar, or service offered by The Film Academy, whether conducted in person or online.
By registering, attending, or participating in any course or service, you (“Student,” “Participant,” or “You”) agree to comply with the following terms:

1.1. Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

1.2. Application Process: Enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. A completed registration form and payment are required to secure your spot.

1.3. Right to Refuse: We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove a participant at any time due to inappropriate behavior, breach of terms, or other valid reasons.

2.1. Tuition: The full course fee must be paid in advance unless otherwise arranged. All prices are in USD and subject to applicable taxes.

2.2. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of [Insert Amount or 10%] is required for enrolling into any training scheduled beyond the current/upcoming class being offered.

2.3. Payment Plans / Financing Options: Payment plans may be available upon request and are subject to credit approval and additional fees.

2.4. Late Payments: Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in forfeiture of your seat or additional late fees.

3.1. Student Cancellations:

Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the course start date may be eligible for a partial refund (minus the non-refundable deposit).

Cancellations within 14 days of the course start date are non-refundable.

3.2. No Shows

No refunds or rescheduling will be offered for participants who do not show up.

3.3. Rescheduling by Student

Rescheduling is permitted once if requested at least 7 days prior to the course start date. Additional rescheduling incurs a $100 fee.

3.4. Course Changes or Cancellations by The Film Academy

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to low enrollment, instructor unavailability, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or transfer will be provided.

4.1. Content Ownership

All course content, training materials, images, videos, and intellectual property remain the sole property of The Film Academy.

4.2. License to Use

Students may use the materials for personal use and reference only. Reproduction, redistribution, or public sharing is prohibited.

4.3. Photography & Recording

Recording of any class or use of course materials for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited unless prior written consent is obtained.

5.1. Professional Behavior

Participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully at all times.

5.2. Substance Use

Use of drugs or alcohol during training is strictly prohibited.

5.3. Health & Safety

Participants must comply with all health, safety, and cleanliness protocols, including wearing proper gear and using tools responsibly.

6.1. No Guarantees

We do not guarantee employment, earnings, or business success upon course completion.

6.2. As-Is Training

Courses are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Film Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or personal injury, arising out of or related to participation in our training.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Certification does not imply licensure or endorsement by any third party.

9.1. Non-Compete

Participants agree not to replicate or offer competing training courses using the curriculum or materials presented at The Film Academy for a period of 12 months.

9.2. Confidential Information

You agree not to disclose or use any proprietary methods, techniques, or business practices taught during training.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Information collected during registration will be used solely for course administration, communication, and internal purposes. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.

We are not responsible for delays or cancellations due to causes beyond our control, including natural disasters, travel restrictions, or government mandates.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in Orange County, Florida (City of Orlando), unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website and effective immediately.

By enrolling in any course provided by The Film Academy, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
